Who are these guys?
Savisto is a home, beauty and lifestyle brand that sells products ranging from kitchen accessories to bathroom fixtures to nifty gifts and gadgets. If you want to make ice cream or bake a cake or take a soak in luxury tub or apply makeup like a pro, Savisto has you covered. And that’s just touching the surface of what they offer.
What did they want?
A while back, when Savisto was all shiny and new, they needed content for landing pages and blogs. There was also a YouTube channel that needed descriptions and social media channels that needed filling with entertaining things to bring in the likes and comments.
‘I’ll happily do all of those things’, I said. And so the relationship began.
What I did
First task on the agenda was to write landing page content for the growing range of products so that search engines and the good people of the United Kingdom could find them. Eventually, this also included the Proworks range – a new dedicated fitness brand that had its home on Savisto.com.
Then there was blog posts. Recipe blogs mostly, written around different holidays and food-themed days/weeks. I wrote a whole lot of posts on a whole lot of great recipes from around the world. Being involved in writing the content for the YouTube channel also meant getting to sample some pretty great food like cakes and Belgian chips... Oh, the brilliance of those Belgian chips.
On the social media side of things, I helped the audience grow to over 25,000 in a year, thanks to a combination of good content and prize giveaways. Not bad going.
While doing all of that good stuff, Savisto brought out a new stand mixer, that was to include a recipe book filled with step-by-step guides on how to make various different breads, pies, cakes and pastries. I won’t bore you with the details, but let’s just say I’m a published author now.
If you ever buy a Savisto product and like the copy that you read on the box. That might have also been written by me.
